Leadership Team

The Buxton Initiative's vision of bringing together people of differing faiths and worldviews to build a stronger and more civil global community requires a broad coalition of support. Buxton receives leadership from a number of individuals, both staff and volunteers:

Staff members

are responsible for the day-to-day execution of Buxton’s mission. They organize, plan and moderate Buxton events and roundtables; they maintain the website; and they create opportunities for interreligious dialogue in schools and churches throughout the region.

The Advisory Council

includes high-level leaders from a variety of sectors (including diplomats, former members of Congress, CEO’s, etc.) who provide support and guidance to the Board of Governors and Staff. Advisory Council members convene semi-annually.

The Board of Directors

establishes Buxton’s vision, goals, and priorities. The Board oversees the Staff and ensures excellence in all of Buxton’s programs.

Several members of Buxton’s Leadership Team meet with a delegation of Pakistani Leaders.
