The following "Faith Journeys" are snapshots of the lives of individuals who have been involved in our Buxton Dialogue. They demonstrate that faith is an individual matter, that each person has a personal experience and that when you know someone's personal story, it nearly always shatters the stereotype you hold of that person's religion or culture.

As a Pakistani-born Muslim, I accepted the faith that I was born into with comfort and ease. My family immigrated to the United States when I was in high school. As soon as we arrived in Washington, DC., they enrolled me in a Catholic school run by the Sisters of the Visitation Convent.
